Journal #5
Lead-in Lines: For this image I took a walk down a pathway in Burlington and I thought the pathway would be a great picture for "lead-in lines" because the way the bath goes up the picture, it leads the eye. I also liked this picture I took because of the shadow of the trees casting on the pathway makes it look very neat.
Framing: The first image was taken of a lizard I caught in a juice bottle and the lizard is in focus while the bottle framing it is out of focus. For the second picture is was the sun setting behind trees and there is tree branches going all around the picture from all sides which is framing the sun setting.
Rule of thirds: For the first picture I went for a walk up the mountain in Grimsby and there was a house hidden behind some trees so I thought it would be perfect for "rule of thirds" because the point of view which is the house, is off towards the right and not centered. For the second picture, its taken in Burlington and I thought it suited the "rule of thirds" because there is the rocks up by the front of the image, than water in the middle, and buildings in the very back which if the image was split into sections, it would be the rule of thirds.
